One of the most popular shellfish found on the Pacific Coast
is Dungeness crab; especially when it’s found on the dinner
table ready to eat. We have a commercial fishing license and catch
all the crab we sell. Since the fishing grounds are within minutes
of our location and daily catches tend to be small, we are usually
offering crab for sale that was very recently
roaming the bottom of Samish Bay in search of its own dinner.
A live tank enables us to hold crab in storage and avoid lapses
of availability

to some
extent during the season, however, due to the nature of fishing,
weather, and the briskness of sales work in the opposite direction,
it is a good idea to place orders in advance for crab. Keep in mind
that our fishing seasons are regulated by the state
of Washington; while there is a traditional date for opening (October
1), there are interim closures and season endings that occur without
much notice so call us before you get the water boiling. |
